Sizes over this will require the gate to be in two sections that are then bolted together. This is to prevent the gate from twisting out of shape. All Sliding Driveway Gates will have a bottom brace to allow for rollers etc.nWhen measuring for your sliding gates it is important to remember to add an additional 800mm. It’s important to remember for a sliding gate to work, one side must have a clearance of “opening width + required overhang”. For example. If your opening is 3m you would need a clearance of “opening” (3m) + “overhang” (800mm) = 3m 800mm.
