Simply take the width of the opening and add 300mm. This allows the brackets to sit 150mm from each edge.
Minimum height of 1100mm (as per building regulations).

Height: From bottom edge of railing to highest point.
If mounting on top of wall, we recommend a 50mm (2″) gap between bottom edge of railing to top of wall. Therefore, if you selected a railing height of 400mm and had a 50mm clearance your total height would be 450mm.

Building Regulations for Juliet Balconies
It must be at least 1100mm high from standing floor level with no gaps wider than 100mm. To ensure this, the minimum height you can select is 1100mm and we construct no product that has a gap of 100mm or more.
