HOW TO MEASURE FOR SLIDING GATES:

Unlike other gate types, sliding gates use the same measurement technique and does not differ depending on material.

Simply, take a measurement of your opening size as shown below. Then add 800mm to your size. This is to allow for the “overhang” required.

Example: Opening size 4m 120mm + 800mm (for overhang) = sliding gate size of 4m 920mm.

It is important to remember the return area for the sliding gate. Using the above as an example, the clear space you would need would be:

4m 120mm (Opening size) + 4m 920mm (return and overhang) = 9m 040mm.
