      Actual gate width for both sides added together.

      TO CALCULATE GATE WIDTH:

      Take three horizontal measurements between existing posts or pillars.

      Reduce lowest measurement by 40mm (1 1/2").  Find the closest size on the drop down list and select the next size lower. 

      *WIDTH

      Actual gate width for both sides added together. For example, if you selected a width from the drop down of 10ft (3m 048mm), you would receive 2 x gates at 5ft wide (1m 524mm).

      *HEIGHT

      Taken to the highest point of the gate. We recommend leaving a gap of 25mm (1") clearance between the bottom edge of the gate and ground level. 

      *HORN DESIGN

      Change the design on the side and centre gate horns. 

      OPTIONAL EXTRAS YOU MIGHT LIKE

      FINISH OPTIONS

      Professionally finished. Please note. Colour may look slightly different on the gate due to screen settings. Knots on the timber, grain and screws will be visible. We do offer free samples on request. To order your free sample, please contact us.

      HINGE SET

      Available in either galvanised or galvanised and black finish. Heavy duty adjustable gate hinge set which includes hinges, drop bolts, brenton bolt, latch and fixings (for gate only). For gates over 10ft wide, we recommend our 36" adjustable set.

      All hinge sets come with a 5 yr guarantee.

      GATE LOCK

      Double locking, black and chrome. Includes 5 keys.

      ADDING AUTOMATION NOW OR IN THE FUTURE?

      Extra support for the gate is needed if planning on automating your gates. This is due to the force of the automation to the gate. Standard rails (over time) will fail. Add either a solid middle rail if attaching automation arms to middle of the gate (also know as above ground automation), or bottom middle rail if using underground automation.

      AUTOMATION KITS

      Supplied to us by BFT, one of the most reliable automation manufacturers out there. All kits come complete with a 2 year manufacturers guarantee.

    • Add your house name or house number and road name to your gate. Engraved into the top section of the gate. We use both sides of the gate to do this. For example, if your house was called "Lavender Cottage", Lavender would be on the left side and Cottage on the right side.

      As looking from front of gate, enter text on left (and/ or) right side.

Using the finest quality materials combined with traditional mortise, tenon and dowel joints, this gate is designed not only to look fantastic but to be extremely durable. Materials used are both FSC sourced or PEFC certified. Includes wrought iron inserts.
