WOODEN GARDEN GATES
Stunning garden gates expertly crafted by hand in the UK to any width or height using traditional, time served construction techniques for ultimate durability. Mortise, tenon and dowel jointed frames for maximum durability and strength. Hidden stainless steel screws within the cladding to optomise the look and performance of each gate. Deeper wooden frame with thicker cladding.
Attention to detail is crucial and every gate is finished with a routered edge to not only look better but also feels better. Of course, with so much care taken on the production of your new garden gate, we only use the finest (slow grown) Redwood Pine (other materials available).
Any width and height from between 3ft to 4ft 6″. If you require a higher gate, please see Side Gates. Select your width to the nearest inch or call our team to order to the exact millimeter.
Material Choice: We also produce garden gates in different materials, metal, hardwood, metal framed or composite.
With so many designs to choose from you’re certain to find a gate that “really makes an entrance”.

Benefits of a Wooden Garden Gate
A pine garden gate offers numerous benefits, making it an excellent choice for both functionality and aesthetics in your outdoor space. Here are some key advantages:
- Durability: Pine is a strong, resilient wood that can withstand various weather conditions, making it suitable for outdoor use. With proper treatment and maintenance, a pine gate can last for many years.
- Cost-Effective: Compared to other types of wood like cedar or redwood, pine is generally more affordable, making it a budget-friendly option for homeowners.
- Versatile Aesthetics: Pine can be easily stained or painted to match your garden or home décor. Its natural grain adds warmth and character, enhancing the overall look of your garden.
- Easy to Work With: Pine is relatively lightweight and easy to cut, shape, and assemble, making it a popular choice for DIY projects. This can save you time and money if you plan to build the gate yourself.
- Natural Resistance: While not as naturally resistant to rot and pests as some hardwoods, treated pine can be made more durable through pressure treatment or sealing, providing added protection against the elements.
- Eco-Friendly: Pine is often sourced from sustainable forests, making it an environmentally friendly choice compared to some other materials. It’s biodegradable and can be sourced from managed forests.
- Customisability: Pine gates can be designed in various styles. This allows homeowners to create a gate that fits their specific aesthetic and functional needs.
- Low Maintenance: With regular inspections and maintenance, such as re-staining or sealing, a pine gate can remain in good condition with relatively low upkeep compared to other materials.
Conclusion
Overall, a pine garden gate is a practical, attractive, and affordable choice that can enhance the functionality and appearance of your outdoor space. With proper care, it can provide long-lasting benefits for years to come.
