      To calculate gate width, take three horizontal measurements between existing posts/ pillars. Take lowest measurement then reduce by 125mm (if centre hanging) or 50mm (rear hanging).

      The Chelsea garden gate. One of our modern design, “Premium Frame” garden gates constructed using a deep 40mm x 40mm box frame. This creates a stunning looking gate that will last for many years. Handcrafted in the UK by skilled craftsmen using the finest materials to provide ultimate durability and quality. Unlike our competitors, our gate material is thicker, comes complete with a 10 year workmanship guarantee, adjustable hinges/ pins, opening latch. Therefore, if fitting to existing posts/ pillars – this gate is ready to hang with no extras required.

      Description

      Finest quality metal garden gate that really “make’s an entrance!“. Expertly crafted by hand in the UK to any width or height (to the nearest inch online or to the millimeter over the phone).

      Constructed using our Premium Frame system. Thicker bars, deeper framework and infills to create a long lasting, durable garden gate.

      Includes a choice of finish in black, anthracite grey or white, opening/ closing latch and adjustable hinges.

      Width of Gate: Taken as the actual gate (not opening size).

      Height of Gate: Taken to the highest point of each gate. We recommend allowing a 50mm (2″) clearance between the bottom edge of gate and driveway (as long as the drive is level). If you require a more exact height, please contact us to order.

      How to Measure

      Dependent on set up. Measure your gap between existing posts/ pillars and reduce width by size shown below. This is to allow for hinge clearance.

      Gate mounted between posts (inner). Reduce width by 125mm.

      Choice of finish:

      Choose your colour, black, anthracite grey or white. For added protection, we recommend adding “Long Life” to your order. Gate is primed with a zinc coating then top coated with the colour of your choice (additional charge applies for “long Life” finish).
