    The depth, thickness and quality of materials used in the construction of metal framed composite gates is a key factor on how the gate will look and perform. We only use the finest steel that’s generally thicker than our competitors. This ultimately produces a long lasting gate that really does “make an entrance”.

    How to Measure

    Calculating gate width with existing pillars or posts in place.

    Take THREE measurements between the pillars/ posts. Across the top, middle and bottom. Make a note of the SMALLEST measurement.

    To determine what clearance is needed to calculate gate width, you must decide how the gate will open. The first example is by far the most popular set up.

    OPTION 1: (most popular set up)

    Gates to open towards driveway. Hinge plates mounted to rear face of post/ pillar. Back edge of gate sits flush with the back edge of post/ pillar.

    REDUCE 50mm (2″) from your lowest measurement.

    OPTION 2:

    Driveway gates open inwards towards driveway. Hinge plates mounted to inside face of post/ pillar. Front edge of gate sits flush with the front edge of post/ pillar.

    REDUCE 150mm (6″) from your lowest measurement.

    Wooden Gates (inc Garage Doors): Monday 10th February to Friday 14th February. (Additional 5 - 10 working days if paint/ stain is added.)

    Composite Gates: Monday 17th February to Friday 21st February.

    Metal and Metal Infill Gates: Monday 17th February to Friday 21st February.

    Metal Railings and Ballustrades: Monday 17th February to Friday 21st February.

    Accessories (automation kits, intercoms etc): 1 to 2 working days.
